Emergency Unemployment Compensation (EUC) Extended, March 2, 2010

EUC is a 100% federally funded program that provides benefits to individuals who have exhausted regular state benefits. The EUC program was created on June 30, 2008, and has been modified several times. Most recently, on March 2, 2010, the President signed the Temporary Extension Act of 2010 (P.L. 111-144) which extended the expiration date of the EUC program to April 5, 2010.
